Regular Meeting
April 6, 2023 - 7:00 p.m.
Planning Commission present: Harold Badger (chair), Sally Jackson (vice chair), Rick Offerson, Peggy Vogt
Absent: Scott Frederick (excused illness)
Staff: David Martin, Zoning Administrator
Guests: None
The meeting began with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Agenda: A motion was made by Vogt; seconded by Offerson, to accept the agenda as presented. Motion passed unanimously.
Minutes: A motion was made by Offerson; seconded by Jackson, to accept the minutes of the February 6, 2023, meeting as presented. Motion passed unanimously.
Public Comment: None
Correspondence: None
Township Board Report: No report due to the absence of Frederick.
Zoning Administrator: Martin distributed copies of permit applications from January 1-April 5, 2023*. He also presented an Enforcement List* for code violations. Discussion re: the various violations, anticipated corrections and further anticipated actions was held. Martin was commended for his attention to these matters.
Zoning Board of Appeals: Nothing to report at this time.
Calendar: Vogt presented a schedule of meetings for the Planning Commission for 2023-24. A motion was made by Vogt; seconded by Offerson to accept the meeting dates as presented. Copies will be distributed.
Expenses: Vogt presented a bill in the amount of $56.91 for secretary's expenses incurred in 2022. A motion was made by Jackson; seconded by Offerson to approve the expense and pass it on to the Township Board for final approval. Motion passed unanimously.
Unfinished Business: (1) No update available re: changes sent to Carlisle-Wortman for ther Zoning Ordinance; (2) Vogt will follow up with township secretary, Sherrie, and prepare to send proposed changes of the Master Plan to Carlisle-Wortman; (3) Offerson will work to obtain current census figures to be included in the Master Plan; (4) Badger will contact Pinegate to obtain solar photos for the Master Plan; (5) There has been no further contact re: the Bigcraft* project on Newburg Road from the owners.

Adjournment: A motion was made by Vogt: seconded by Offerson, to adjourn the meeting. Motion
passed unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
