Sheridan Township Board of Trustees Meeting

SPECIAL

January 26, 2022

10:00 am

I. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Richard Porter at 10:00 am.

The Pledge was led by Richard Porter

Present: Randy Fisher, Scott Frederick, Stephanie Craig, Richard Porter, and Hayley England.

Absent: None

Audience: Scott McLane, Chris Burdette, Shirley Shuman

II. Approval of Agenda: A motion was made by Randy, 2nd by Scott to accept the agenda as written. All in favor. The motion passed.

III. Public Comment: None

IV. New Business

1. Rescind Township resolution 2021-06, 2021-07 and 2021-08. Resolutions need to be rescinded because they are dated for 2021. We will need to do new public hearings to put new dates on them. A motion was made by Randy, 2nd by Scott to rescind resolutions 2021-06, 2021-07, and 2021-08. Roll call vote; all in favor. The motion passed.

2. Discuss and vote on moving Township funds to Homestead Savings and create sweep accounts. Chris did a presentation on the sweep account process. Discussion ensued between board members, Scott McLane and Shirley Shuman. Randy left the meeting at 10:30. A motion was made by Scott, 2nd by Hayley to move all township funds to Homestead and create sweep accounts. Roll Call vote; Randy Fisher was not present. All in favor. The motion passed.

XI. Adjourn: A motion was made by Hayley, 2nd by Scott to adjourn at 10:50. All in favor; the motion passed.
